Research into biotechnology is advancing more and more quickly and the visitors to the BIOTechnikum should be able to experience this progress accordingly. The exhibition vehicle was custom-designed, with an upper floor that cannot only be extended upwards but also sideways – sufficient space for lively dialogue. Notice to wheelchair users
The mobile BIOTechnikum hands-on experience is equipped with a ramp system and a stair lift, thus allowing wheelchair users access to the truck and the upper level. Should you visit the BIOTechnikum without support, the accompanying scientists on site will be glad to assist you. Due to the BIOTechnikum being a mobile campaign and the resulting technical limitations, however, the facilities in the road-show vehicle are only suitable for standard hand-operated wheelchairs.
